If you're looking for story, character development, or an in-depth examination on violence and how far one can go to reach the person they love...
Go look somewhere else. Hardcore Henry knows what it wants to give: constant, high-quality action and gunplay, played along with some of the best type of gratuitous first-person violence you can look for. The story isn't at all impressive (I dare say even stupid), but that's not the point. There's no need for story when you got one man, and his many guns, against a lot of nameless thugs with enough room for some extra lead in their diets.
